Children under 5 are free with us and children 5 – 17 year old are $8. Adults are $12.

Every day of the week we are in the office from roughly 9:00 to 17:00, happy to take your call.

We do like to go for a surf during our lunch break and on Sunday afternoon we like to take it easy from about 15:00.

Only in case of an emergency! Please note that the business line goes directly to the private residence of the managers. You can reach us by phone between 9:00 and 17:00 every day (until 15:00 on Sundays). Outside these hours please fill out a Booking Request or General Enquiry form and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you!

Sorry no. As much as we love dogs here we are not able to accommodate any pets. The National Parks campground (Delicates) across the road from us is dog friendly.

Yes, we have powered sites you can book and there are power outlets in the laundry and bathrooms for hair dryers/ mobile phone charging etc.

No, we do not have water hook-ups on our sites. There is free rain water available or you can buy bottled or filtered water at reception. Please note that you can not hook up a hose to our rain or filtered water tanks to refill your caravan, camper trailer or RV tank. Water refills are up to 50L only.

Yes, we pride ourselves in being a bush campground and this means lots of shade and privacy. The shady sites are spread between the powered and unpowered sections so there is good availability for both.

Yes, depending on availability. We try our best to accommodate all requests and the most secluded areas of the campground are in the unpowered section.

For peak time bookings (School holidays, long weekends, Christmas and New Years) we advise booking and paying your deposit as early as possible. Many sites are booked years in advance during peak times. To make a booking or confirm your pending booking simply give us a call on 02 6566 0144 during our office hours of 9:00 – 17:00.

After you have put in a (pending) booking with one of our reception staff we will need a deposit to confirm your booking. The deposit amount depends on the duration of your stay and is required per family (also when part of a group booking). The deposit amount gets deducted of your camp fees.

Deposits are non refundable, so please make sure you book for your exact dates and numbers. To pay your deposit simply give us a call on 02 6566 0144 during our office hours of 9am – 5pm.

When you pay a deposit you are agreeing with our booking & refund policy. 

Sorry but we cannot offer refunds to guests choosing to leave early.

No. The camp kitchen is for the use of all campers at their convenience and is not available to book. The Bunkhouse Kitchen is for Bunkhouse guests only.

Nope! All bed linen is provided by us. Please return them to reception at check out. If you would prefer to do so, you are welcome to bring your own linen. However, by law it is forbidden to use sleeping bags on our beds. We do not provide any bath towels or tea towels in the kitchen.

YES! They are FREE of charge but we do ask that you limit your showers to 3 minutes for the convenience of all guests and to avoid our tanks running too low.

At reception you can buy bottled water or refill small, portable containers with UV filtered drinking water (up to 50L). At the bathrooms we also have unfiltered rain water taps where you can refill your containers for free. We always advice to boil or filter the rain and bore water before using it. Please note that we do not provide water hookups on the sites and we can not refill any caravan, trailer or RV tanks from our rain or filtered water.

Definitely! But helmets need to be worn at all time whilst riding bikes. It is the parents responsibility to ensure this happens.

There are picnic benches around the campground and the camp kitchen and cafe area have many tables both covered and uncovered.

The camp kitchen is available to all campground guests, it is located past the bathrooms and by the giant chess set. At the camp kitchen you can find a guest stove top, an electric barbecue and a gas bottle & wood barbecue. You have to bring your own gas or wood. There is a sink with cold bore water for rinsing, but there are sinks with hot water at the bathrooms. There are no pots, pans, cutlery, fridges or microwaves.

The Bunkhouse kitchen is only available to Bunkhouse guests. The Bunkhouse kitchen is fully equipped for up to 70 people. It has fridges, a kettle, microwave, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, a stove top, electric and gas barbecue + a big social fire pit. You have to bring your own gas or wood. There is a double sink with cold bore water.

Right here! Our on site Surf Fuel cafe offers barista made coffees and absolutely delicious breakfast, lunch and diner dishes. They work with local products (Doppio or Nothing espresso), offer house smoked meats and boast an ever changing menu. Through their catering company Fronds Food Co they can also cater to special events, weddings and, dinners for two or anything else you can think of (anniversaries, birthdays, celebrations, surprises, you name it). They would love to have a chat!

Our check out time is 12:00 midday, if you wish/need to stay late please come and chat to us at reception.

We ask that you turn down any load music and be mindful of your neighbours at all times. Our noise curfew is 22:00 and from 23:00 it needs to be completely silent on site. The general rule is that the guests on the next site should not be able to hear you. If you wish to party on, just take it to the beach! (but be quiet until you get there)

Our beach access is less than 50M from the entrance to the campground. Just across the road there is a sand dune walkway that takes you to the beautiful and empty Big Hill beach and Delicate Nobby Headland.

Iconic Crescent Head is located approximately 10km North of us on Point Plomer Road. About 6km of this is an unsealed, dirt road. Crescent Head has a Foodworks supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, Barnetts Bakery, great cafes and a beautiful (patrolled) beach. For the big supermarkets and more shops you can go to Kempsey, about 35km away.

We can accepts bookings for up to 3 weeks at a time.

Yes, we have a small shop with basic camp supplies, snacks and essentials the office. We do not stock any perishables (bread, eggs, meats). We also have the Surf Fuel cafe with great coffees and food. We recommend buying your groceries in Kempsey or Crescent Head before you arrive. 

Yes, frozen bait is available at reception.

Fires are fine as long as there is no total fire ban. Please see reception to find out the latest fire ban information. We have to right to declare a fire ban on our property even if there is no state wide ban. Fires are allowed in the fire pits provided or in your own fire pit. It is not allowed to burn cans, bottles or other rubbish.

We sell bags with 15kg of wood for $12 at reception. It is not allowed to take wood from the property (other than kindling), by doing so you are disturbing nature and animal habitat. Anyone who damages trees, bush or burns wood found on site will be told to leave immediately. .

There is no cell phone reception on the campground (yay!). However, all networks seem to get good reception at the beach. The closer you walk to the rocks, the better it gets.

NO! We DO NOT have facilities for dumping caravan toilet waste. The nearest public dump point to us is in Kempsey, so please make sure to see a dump point before your arrival. Our bathrooms are on septic tanks, so it is not allowed to put any waste down our systems.

Anyone found to dump their waste water on site or in our septic system will be asked to leave immediately.

We have a washing machine and drying lines at the bathrooms. Laundry powder is available at reception for $1.
