About Waves Campground

We are always happy to tell you all about Waves Campground! In September 2015 the campground – formerly known as Delicate Nobby Campground – changed ownership and management. With this change came a new name: Waves Campground. We aim to provide comfortable, friendly and affordable camping with professional and high standard service.

You can find the campground on the spectacular Mid North Coast of NSW, between Goolawah National Park and Limeburners Creek Nature Reserve. Just across the road there are magnificent white sandy beaches with gorgeous blue bays for surfing, fishing, snorkelling and long walks. Our beautiful trees and bush give privacy and shade to campsites and the wildlife is amazing. We try to keep the exciting flora and fauna of Australia as natural as we can and are especially proud of the abundant birdlife, which we think is because we don’t allow dogs (the National Park campgrounds do).

The international team of temporary and permanent staff at Waves actively maintain, improve and clean the campground. Most staff members booked in for a night and enjoyed the place so much, they didn’t want to leave. Others have come through HelpX, where we exchange a few hours of light work for food and accommodation.

The energetic, competent and happy team makes for a warm welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere during your holiday experience. Feel free to ask us more about Waves Campground and our stories, we love meeting people from all over the world.

Happy Campers
